Taipei 101

Jiufen

Nestled in the mountains of New Taipei City, Jiufen is a charming town rich in history and culture. National Palace Museum

The temple’s architecture is a stunning example of traditional Taiwanese temple design, featuring intricate wood carvings, colorful stone sculptures, and ornate tiled roofs. Shilin Night Market, is one of the largest and most famous night markets in Taiwan. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, this bustling market offers a wide variety of local snacks, street food, and entertainment, making it a must-visit destination for tourists and locals alike.

The market is especially renowned for its iconic food stalls, where visitors can sample a variety of delicious and unique Taiwanese dishes. Some of the most popular foods include fried chicken steak, bubble tea, stinky tofu, oyster omelettes, and lu rou fan (braised pork rice). The hot pot stalls and grilled skewers are also crowd favorites. The flavors and aromas in the air create a sensory overload, attracting food lovers from all over.

Beyond food, Shilin Night Market is a shopping paradise, offering a wide range of clothes, accessories, electronics, and souvenirs. Taroko Gorge

Taroko Gorge, is one of Taiwan’s most breathtaking natural landmarks. Known for its dramatic landscapes, the gorge is carved by the Liwu River and is famous for its towering marble cliffs, lush vegetation, and deep ravines. The gorge is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Central Mountain Range, offering visitors a spectacular view of nature’s power and beauty.

One of the most striking features of Taroko Gorge is its marble rock formations, which have been shaped over millions of years by natural forces. These cliffs rise sharply on either side of the river, creating an awe-inspiring, narrow passageway.
