Remarks

Depending on your nationality, you may need to apply for an e-Visa or Landing Visa, please kindly check the following information.

Visa-exempt

Foreign attendees entering Taiwan visa-free must hold passports with a remaining validity of at least six months and a return or onward air ticket and a valid visa for the next destination. The maximum period of stay in Taiwan for foreigners who enter visa-free is 14, 30 or 90 days, upon the expiration of which period they must depart.

e-Visa

Foreign nationals who are eligible for e-Visas may fill in the application form online. The eVisa is a single-entry visa, and the maximum duration of stay in Taiwan is 30 days, which cannot be extended and converted to other types of visas.

Visa Type and Documents Needed

To attend 3rd GYO Summit & 20th TSCRS Annual Meeting, a Conference Visa (NOT a tourist visa or a business visa) is mandatory unless you are a national of a visa-exempt country. Whether you apply for a Conference Visa in the form of an e-visa or a paper visa, you will be required to submit the “Letter of Invitation from the Conference Organizer” via email.
Please submit your completed Visa Supporting Documents Request Form by April 4th, 2025 so that the organizers can prepare the above mentioned supporting document for you on time. Any delay in submission may result in a failed visa application.

The 3rd Global Young Ophthalmologist Summit will take place in Taiwan from June 13 to 15, 2025, in conjunction with the 20th Taiwan Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (TSCRS) Annual Meeting.
